My work is made entirely by hand using slab and modelling techniques. I use Earthstone ES40 clay (www.valentineclays.co.uk) fired to stoneware (c.1240 degrees C) in a top loading electric kiln (www.northernkilns.com). Each piece is individually decorated using a combination of body slip, high temperature stains and metal oxides.
